I got this bike this summer and I worked a lot on it but now I need the cash so I have to let it go. It's an 82 XJ650 with about 11,000 miles on it. The bike is in fair condition. I rebuilt the carbs, installed a newer seat and a bigger gas tank (from an XJ750 with a better petcock). The bike runs good. Only problem is that it takes a while to start when cold. I think it's a calibration issue with the choke but I'm not sure. Once it's warm, it starts right away. It's a fun ride! Other than that, the exhaust is rusty in the bottom and it could use a new front brake. I spent over $1,000 on it. It's a very sexy bike. I'll take the best offer. I'd like to sell it asap.
